Warriors: Wild Hearts Site Rules

1. Do not powerplay or godmod. Powerplaying is where you control someone else's cat and godmodding is where you are invincible or have special powers.
---
Example of Powerplaying:
Bob: Thunderspirit yowled as he slashed at his foe's face.
Joe: Lightningstrike let out a hiss and bit Thunderspirit's leg, feeling it snap easily, like a twig, beneath his teeth.

Joe cannot break Bob's cat's foot, because he does not RP Thunderspirit.
----
Example of Godmodding:
Bob: Thunderspirit fell off the tall cliff and tumbled onto the ground. Although he was startled, he was unhurt. This wasn't surprising, however. Thunderspirit had webbed feet that helped him to stay upright and slowed him down as he fell.
Joe: Lightningstrike noticed Thunderspirit. He raced up to the cat, breathing fire on him.

No matter how good cats are at landing, they would not survive this fall. This is invincibility godmodding.
Cats cannot breathe fire, contrary to common belief. ;) This would be a special power.

2. Do not cuss or swear. damn and hell are fine. So is fricking or a variation of it. Anything beyond that will not be tolerated, but staff discretion may vary somewhat.

3. No fake Clans or anything. Bands of rogues are okay but PM me and ask me about it first.

4. Put some effort into you posts. One-liners are understandable every once in a while, but nobody likes to roleplay with someone who won't put in a little description. There is no word requirement. However, if members are getting ridiculously lazy, one may be implemented.

5. No talking about religions. It can be offensive and hurtful to other players. Also, politics are a bit touchy, too. Yet again, it's at the staff discretion, but only to a point.

6. Be respectful to other members, but don't be pathetic either.

7. Code for the bio is Lilybrook.

8. Don't spam or do anything to the boards. You will be warned but if it's something really bad, you will be banned.

9. Post in join and wait for your character to be accepted before you begin playing.

10. Please no "chat speak" when you're posting - it drives me, and all the other members, crazy. No one wants to post with somebody who can't put the effort into spelling an entire word.
~~~
Good Example:
Thunderspirit sniffed the air. It smelled so good to him, and he ruffled his pelt with pleasure.
----
Bad Example:
thnderpsirit sniffd th air. it smelld so good 2 him, and he ruffl3d his pelt w/ plezure.
Talk about ew right?
11. All territories are stealable. If a Clan loses its camp, it moves to the rogue or loner lands. The leader of the Clan will make the rogue/loner lands thread. (Keep in mind, this is fairly unusual.)
12. Please don't advertise anywhere other than in the advertise/affiliate board.
13. If you have a big role (i.e. leader, deputy, medicine cat, etc.) then you must be on at least once every 3 days to post and take care of your Clan. If you're the apprentice for one of those, it's every 4 days. If you're just a member, it's five days. If you're gonna be gone longer than that, post in Padding Away.
14. You may hold your high position for up to four months to the day. Once that day comes, you must either have killed your character or give up the position.
